Area Agencies on Aging

The Older Americans Act, created to respond to the needs of Americans ages 60 and over, provides funding for Area Agencies on Aging and Title VI-Native American Aging Programs. Some of the many services these programs provide include:

Community resource information and referral assistance.
Health insurance counseling to help older Americans understand their options and rights under Medicare and other insurance alternatives.
Caregiver support.
Transportation to medical appointments.
Home health services.
